Topics to explore: Taking out the school day allowed us to create more time to deep dive into the creative pursuits that fuel us, prioritise the things we felt important, put in place routines to emphasise well-being first and spend more quality time together as a family. Life in school during term time had always looked and felt very different from life in the holidays, and we wanted to create a balance between the two no matter the time of year. How having 7 days per week free means we can do activities when we are all feeling well/energised for it, not just because it is the weekend or a designated holiday. We are now living work-life integration, not striving for work-life balance.
